**SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT**
IT'S OFFICIAL...STORM football is now for 6 and 7 year olds with our new Mighty Mite team.
The PAL League is now offering tackle football for 6 & 7 year old children. The team will be called the Mighty Mites & the ages will be 6-8. Exact weights for this new division will be decided in the first couple of months in 2009.
Age and Weight Standards For Football & Cheerleading To participate, players must meet the following age and weight criteria.

Regular Season games begin the 1st weekend after Labor Day and continue for 7 weekends after. Schedule not released till late August.

All practices are at Del Mar High School (near Bascom & Stokes in San Jose)
Home games are at the Campbell Community Center Football Stadium (corner of Winchester & Campbell, Campbell Ca) **Late fall practices (mid-October) will be moved to a field with lights as we lose sunlight early in those months.**

PAL programs nationwide are required to annually conduct a background check of: Coaches, Board of Directors members and any other persons, volunteers or hired workers, who provide regular service to the league and or have repetitive access to, or contact with, players and/or cheer participants. The purpose of these background checks is, first and foremost, to protect the children.
