EFFECTIVE Tuesday, Sept 30 - end of season, (DUE TO THE LOSS OF SUNLIGHT). 
New Time 5pm - 7PM

• MEDICAL RELEASE must be signed by a physician and turned in prior to or at the first day of practice

• YOUR CHILD WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PARTICIPATE IN PRACTICES UNTIL THE ABOVE CONDITIONS HAVE BEEN MET.
• NO EXCEPTIONS

Del Mar High School

NEW FOR 2008: Practice will be Monday to Friday, 5:30 to 7:30 pm at Del Mar HS from July 21st until August 29th.
Beginning September 2nd, practice will be Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, 5:30 to 7:30 through the end of the season.
This is a different schedule from previous seasons.


First Day of Practice Schedule
8:00 – 9:30 All participants must check in at the Registration tables to be cleared for eligibility to practice
9:30 – 10:00 MANDATORY PARENT/PLAYER MEETING – at least one parent or guardian must attend.
Rules and expectations will be explained including:
• Fundraising
• Volunteer Requirements
• Communication & Attitude
• Minimum Player Rule
• Equipment Maintenance
• Academic Expectations
• Hydration
• Being on time for practice & pick-up
• All Stars

10:00 – 10:30 Team Parent/Player meeting with coaches (break into groups)
10:30 – 1:00 Practice

Dates to Remember:
JAMZ Camp (Cheer) August 16th & 17th
Punt Pass & Kick Fundraiser – August 16th
Picture Day – August 25th & 26th
PAL Jamboree – August 23rd (unconfirmed)
Cookie Dough Fundraiser Begins – August 28th
Regular Season games begin weekend of September 6/7 and continue for the next eight weekends.
Game schedule will not be available until mid-August.

PAL programs nationwide are required to annually conduct a background check of: Coaches, Board of Directors members and any other persons, volunteers or hired workers, who provide regular service to the league and or have repetitive access to, or contact with, players and/or cheer participants. The purpose of these background checks is, first and foremost, to protect the children.
